Digital Literacy on the Life Skills App

In an effort to support students build Digital Literacy skills, the Nubian Foundation is partnering with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and UNICEF Ghana to pilot a 12-part scenario-based lesson on the Life Skills App; each lesson is an interactive game that enables student pick up the skills they need to be safe online. The interactive module is targetted at upper-primary & secondary schoolers

Storybooks for Cultural Exchange

Storybooks are important tools for cultural immersion for kids. As African children are limited to foreign stories, so are non-African children limited to stories that exclude the African perspective - leaving both parties with a truly limited global worldview. Armed with the Nubian Storybook format, we seek to provide a cultural bridge between children in Africa, its diaspora & across the world with the lens to experience perspectives from all across the globe.

Interactivity for Agricultural Upskilling

Upskilling Actors in the Ghanaian Agricultural value chain is integral to unlocking the full potential of the sector. This initiative will make use of Virtual Reality Training Simulation to provide a realistic learning context where trainees are able to learn the basics about growing in greenhouse.

Virtual Reality holds immense power to transform education however content creation in Virtual Reality is quite cumbersome and requires very technical software and game development skills. Project Konko seeks to build the virtual reality infrastructure necessary to support education in the open.
